The University of Guam Alumni Association (UOGAA) is excited to announce the names of UOG graduates who will be honored as Distinguished Alumni at the upcoming Triton Homecoming Gala. The event is scheduled for Sat. Sept. 3 at the Outrigger Guam Resort from 6p.m. to midnight.
 
The awardees are as follows:

Dr. Gregg San Nicolas

Ms. Joanne Brown
Ms. Judith Flores
 
College of Natural and Applied Sciences
Mr. Frank Cruz
Dr. John Taitano
 
The abovementioned alumni have made major contributions to the social and economic welfare of our island community and their respective professions. The event is open to everyone, but UOG alumni are most especially encouraged to attend. Tickets are $125 per person and seating is limited.
 
As of today there are only 20 seats available.
 
The festivities will include a cocktail reception followed by dinner and the presentation of the “Distinguished Alumni Awards.” A preview of the University’s facilities master plan and 60th anniversary celebration which starts in January 2012 will also be announced.
 
Entertainment will be provided by the dance band Retrospect and there will be exciting door prizes. Valet parking will be provided.

SOE Alumni Association Wall-Plaque Award

UOG-ACEI presented, for the first time, a School of Education alumni wall-plaque award honoring and recognizing ACEI officers and members who graduated from UOG on May 29, 2011.
