Kaselehlia! This summer Dr. Matilda Naputi Rivera had the opportunity to teach ED486 and ED489, as part of the UOG-SOE/COM-FSM partnership in Pohnpei. Dr. Lourdes Ferrer taught the Fine Arts classes. Dr. Rivera was also able to train Karen Simion, so that she can teach our Reading practicum courses, ED643 and ED644. This was important for our Online Reading Master's Program. Additionally, both Drs. Ferrer and Rivera were able to participate in the 31st Annual International Pacific Islands Bilingual Bicultural Association (PIBBA) Conference that was held at Nett Elementary School, Pohnpei.
